Toyota All New Kijang Innova Zenix Hybrid Wins CCA Award 2023

JAKARTA - All New Kijang Innova Zenix Hybrid won Best Carvaganza Editor's Choice Award (CEC) 2023, as well as received two other awards as Best Hybrid and Best Product Development.

On this occasion, the test was carried out objectively in a number of factors, such as driving, accommodation, design, practicality, features to harmony with mobility conditions in Indonesia.

In addition, this award is the second time for the New Kijang Innova Zenix Hybrid model, after successfully becoming the Car of the Year Automotive Award 2023 earlier this year.

"Thank you for the trust and appreciation of all Toyota customers in Indonesia who have trusted the various mobility solutions we offer so that it becomes an encouragement for us to maintain our commitment to present Mobility for All," said Marketing Director of PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM), Anton Jimmi Suwandy, in an official statement received by VOI.ID, Monday, October 16.

Anton Jimmi said the award this time would be used as a spirit and motivation, to always present the best vehicles in each segment, which is based on a study of mobility needs.

"We express our gratitude and appreciation for the cooperation of all stakeholders, from manufacturing, value chain, to dealers who have contributed to presenting Mobility for All to meet all the various and dynamic mobility needs of the Indonesian people," said Marketing Director of PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM), Fumitaka Kawashima.

Looking again at the specifications of the All-New Kijang Innova Zenix Hybrid, which was launched on November 21, 2022, the 7th generation of Kijang is also the first to use electrification technology, Hybrid.

Consisting of three variant options; G Hybrid, V Hybrid, and Q TSS Hybrid, this model is designed to realize environmentally friendly mobility that is comfortable, secure, and easily accessible to the wider community to accelerate the use of more affordable electrification vehicles.

This car is embedded in the use of the all-new Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA): GA-C with a monocoque structure is positioned to replace the lambder-on-frame structure. The TNGA 2.0L engine offers a much better performance by presenting a suitable and optimal combination of acceleration and fuel consumption.

The Toyota Hybrid System (THS) Gen-5 technology in the Hybrid EV model is able to optimize the distribution of energy in fueled motorcycles and electric motors, resulting in superior performance, better efficiency, and low exhaust emission.
