JAKARTA - PT Champion Bike, a company that houses local brands, Selis, officially provides electric motorcycles as patrol vehicles for the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency.
Together with PT Teknologi Karya Digital Nusa (TKDN), Selis has produced 186 units of Selis Agats Patrol. This is in line with the efforts of the two companies to support the electric vehicle ecosystem for cleaner air.
Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, said that the Agats Patrol model was used by officers spread across five offices of the DKI Jakarta Sub-dept. and Transportation Service as operational vehicles.
"These electric motorcycle units are an implementation of the Presidential Instruction on the use of electric vehicles into official vehicles for central and regional government agencies," added Syafrin as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 8.
The activity of expanding the patrol patrol fleet of patrol vehicles is also in realizing the commitment of the two companies to encourage sophisticated transportation, especially in these electric vehicles which are integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT).
PT TKDN will carry out development in IoT technology in terms of monitoring and monitoring of electric vehicles and developing a charging ecosystem to support the use of electric vehicles in Indonesia.
Because it is intended for operational vehicles from the Transportation Service, the electric motor is embedded with several additional accessories such as two boxes on the back with a capacity of 22 liters.
The electric motorcycle also provides patrol strobo lights attached to the back of the motorcycle and siren speakers on the front.
Selis Agats Patrol is also equipped with STNK and BPKB as well as other vehicles.
