JAKARTA - PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN), Toyota manufacturing division for Indonesia, recently donated two car engines to Vocational High School (SMK) Industrial Partner 02 Pati, Central Java.

The provision of these two Toyota cars aims to support education at the school by providing relevant practical tools. This donation is carried out as a preparation step for the era of motor vehicle electrification, so that Indonesia can continue to compete in the increasingly advanced automotive industry.

"By donating this machine, TMMIN shows our commitment to play an active role in government programs aimed at improving the capabilities of human resources in industry, which are skilled and reliable," said Bob Azam, Vice President Director of TMMIN in his statement, Thursday, July 20.

The donation handover ceremony was also attended by Deputy for Coordination for Education Quality Improvement and Religious Moderation of the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (PMK) Warsito, Acting Regent Pati Jateng Henggar Budi Anggoro, and Head of SMK Industrial Partner 02 Pati, Indra Wijaya.

Previously, TMMIN had provided other assistance to five Toyota fostered vocational schools, namely five cars and five machines as tools for the education practice. In addition, the teachers also received appreciation by handing over the certification of "Increase in Teacher Professionality" to 30 teachers.

Bob emphasized that Toyota is committed to being active in the revitalization program of vocational education by providing certified training for teachers and introducing industrial culture. Furthermore, Toyota also focuses on developing a curriculum so that it can be adopted by SMK and produce graduates with the latest skills relevant to the industrial world.

ACTI (Toyota Indonesia Community Academic) will also continue to develop its curriculum in order to support and collaborate with SMK in creating competent human resources in the automotive sector.

With this support, it is hoped that the students of SMK Mitra Industri 02 Pati and other Toyota fostered vocational schools can have access to quality education and are relevant to the demands of the automotive world which continues to grow. Hopefully, donations and educational programs from Toyota can make a positive contribution to the progress of the automotive industry and the development of Indonesian human resources.
