Regarding The Optimism Of Ganjar-Mahfud Winning One Round, Hasto PDIP: The People As A Decisive

Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto said the results of the 2024 presidential election will be determined by the people.

This was conveyed by Hasto when asked about the optimism of pair number three, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD won one round. He said, belief certainly exists but what is more important is the current process.

"We are optimistic about winning one round? Yes, all pairs of candidates have a responsibility for that. But for you, politics started from the moral truth earlier," said Hasto to reporters accompanying the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia Megawati Soekarnoputri in Nusa Dua, Bali, Wednesday, November 22.

Hasto said that all ranks of Ganjar-Mahfud are now moving downwards. This is because the couple he carried came from the people.

"So the characteristic of the victory of Mr. Ganjar Mahfud is the People's movement. When the billboards of Mr. Ganjar and Prof. Mahfud were lowered, the people provided the place (to install Ganjar-Mahfud billboards, ed). When others used the mobilization of village heads, then this (Ganjar, ed) slept in people's homes. So the characteristics of the movement. When later there was such a large fund from their side, we worked together," he said.

"Because the leader who appears authentic from the people has the characteristics of the movement. We have installed the billboards ourselves. It doesn't suddenly appear one night billboards everywhere. It's not a movement but an institution that plays," continued the Secretary of the National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar-Mahfud.

Even though he has moved, Hasto said the final decision is in the hands of the community. Because they have a mandate in this democratic party.

"We leave it to the people. Of course we have the best strategy. So we want one round to two rounds. Of course, our target is to achieve the optimum target. There are three pairs of candidates. So we continue to move," he said.

One of the movements carried out was that PDIP continued to hold activities with the people. In addition, the 2024 presidential election process in order to run well and fairly will also continue to be guarded.
