Lampung Police Dismantles CPNS Jockey Network Gang, 5 Perpetrators Arrested

BANDAR LAMPUNG - Lampung Police have five names of parties suspected of being involved in the 2023 Prosecutor's Candidate Civil Servant (CPNS) test network.

"Yes, the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Polda Lampung) has pocketed the identities of the five people suspected of being involved in the CPNS jockey network," said Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Police, Kombes Pol Umi Fadilah at the Lampung Police Headquarters, Wednesday, November 22.

Umi mentioned the five members of the 2023 Prosecutor's CPNS Selection jockey network, each with the initials A, R, T, A, and I; where they play a role in providing facilities to RDS who are also CPNS test jockeys.

"The role of these five people is to manipulate RDS identity cards to resemble the test participants who used the jockey service. So, the identity card that RDS brought at that time was edited or manipulated; where in the column the name is the name of the participant, but the photo is RDS," explained Umi.

According to him, based on the police investigation in the case, the CPNS test jockey network is suspected to consist of more than five people.

"Temporary suspicion, there are about six, seven people who are included in the network. We are also still investigating this," added Umi.

Previously, last Monday, the Lampung High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) arrested a woman suspected of being a jockey in the implementation of the 2023 Prosecutor's CPNS Basic Competency Selection Test (SKD).

Based on the results of the investigation by the Lampung Regional Police, the jockey is a student of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) with the initials RDS (20) who allegedly received orders from two CPNS test participants.

The Lampung Regional Police also know the identities of the two CPNS jockey service users, namely N, a resident of Central Lampung Regency, and D, a resident of Palembang, South Sumatra.
