Although Not The National Average, BNPT Reveals The Potential Index For Radicalism In South Kalimantan To Improve

JAKARTA - The National Agency for the Management of Theory (BNPT) conveyed that the index number for the potential for radicalism (IPR) of South Kalimantan (Kalsel) has improved.

BNPT Research and Evaluation Sub-Coordinator Teuku Fauzansyah said the previous South Kalimantan IPR was 10.4 now down to 10.2.

"The decline in IPR, including the controlled risk index of terrorism (IRT) in South Kalimantan, is quite good compared to a number of other provinces which are still high," he said when receiving a working visit from the South Kalimantan Terrorism Prevention Coordination Forum (FKPT) and South Kalimantan Kesbangpol at the BNPT office in Bogor, Monday, November 20, was confiscated by Antara.

Teuku hopes that the potential for IPR and IRT in South Kalimantan will continue to decline to below the national average of 10.0.

According to him, the big role of FKPT which stands for BNPT in the regions is very decisive in intensifying prevention efforts.

"We are confident and optimistic that the South Kalimantan FKPT will be able to do so because so far it has been innovated a lot in prevention efforts with all its innovations," he said.

Teuku also appreciated the presence of the South Kalimantan FKPT which has been fully supported by Kesbangpol, which he considered active in activities.

Including a working visit to the BNPT office, only two regions have done it, first FKPT Jepara and FKPT South Kalimantan. Meanwhile, the Head of FKPT South Kalimantan Aliansyah

Mahadi said a working visit to BNPT was to dig up information related to the formation of FKPT in districts or cities.

It is known that currently Banjarmasin City and Banjar Regency are ready to form FKPT in an effort to prevent radicalism and terrorism in the regions to be more intensive.
