Kaesang Issues Nine Instructions To Win At PSI 9th Anniversary

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep conveyed the instructions for Nine to Win to cadres on the momentum of the 9th anniversary of the party.

"In order to welcome the ninth anniversary of PSI, I as general chairman issued Instruction Nine to Win to all administrators, members of the council, cadres, candidates for PSI council members at each level," said Kaesang at the PSI 9th Anniversary Kopdarnas and Tumpengan event at the PSI DPP office, Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, Thursday, November 16.

The first instruction, said Kaesang, was optimistic that PSI would win and qualify for Senayan. Second, he invited cadres to move to greet the people, go to the base to meet the people and explain PSI will struggle to continue the development of President Joko Widodo.

"Three, meet all the volunteers, Mr. President, invite collaboration to win PSI. Fourth, win Mr. Prabowo and Mr. Gibran to ensure the continuation of the President's program," he continued.

The fifth instruction, Kaesang appealed to cadres to carry out polite and santuy (chain) politics and not to be provoked by negative narratives against PSI. Sixth, prohibiting cadres from spreading hoaxes.

"Seven, don't be hostile, don't hate each other just because of different political views. Eight, multiply friendship, sowan to community leaders, ask for prayers to the community, please fight to build an advanced Indonesia," he added.

Finally, Jokowi's son asked PSI cadres to use creative ways in politics to get community support.

Kaesang also said that he as the general chairman was serious about fostering young cadres. According to him, the internship program at PSI is one of his party's programs to recruit potential young cadres.

"Certainly (building young cadres, ed.) and one of the programs that will be in PSI and has been implemented is an internship program at PSI. It will be continued to be able to get potentially political and young cadres," he added.

Met after the event, Kaesang hopes that his party can win the 2024 General Election and qualify for Senayan, at least meeting the parliamentary threshold.

"We hope that for the 2024 General Election PSI can enter parliament, yes, at least we can get four percent," said Kaesang.
