Bogor Mayor Bima Arya along with a number of other regional heads, filed a lawsuit related to Article 201 paragraph (5) of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 10 of 2016 concerning the Pilkada to the Constitutional Court (MK). The petitioners felt aggrieved, because his term of office would be cut off, namely ending in 2023, even though the applicant had not even been in office 5 years, since he was sworn in.The trial was held at the Constitutional Court, with a preliminary examination agenda, on Wednesday 15 November.The petitioners, are regional heads consisting of Maluku Governor Murad Ismail, Deputy Governor of East Java Emil Dardak, Deputy Mayor of Bogor Bima Arya, Deputy Mayor of Bogor Dedie A Rachim, Mayor of Gorontalo A Taha, Mayor of Padang Hendri Septa, Mayor of Tarakan Khairul. In front of the judge, Bima Arya emphasized the lawsuit that this was done, previously through discussions and in-depth analysis.
