JAKARTA - Chairman of the General Election Commission (KPU), Hasyim Asy'ari announced that his party had prepared 150 invitations for each presidential candidate pair (candidate) and vice presidential candidate (cawapres) for the 2024 presidential election.

The KPU will hold a gala dinner with the three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates who have been appointed as participants in the 2024 presidential election.

The invitation includes the leadership of the political party that carries and parties involved in the registration of the presidential and vice-presidential candidates.

"Leaders of political parties who propose each pair of candidates have a quota of 150 people," said Hasyim Asy'ari at a press conference to determine the presidential and vice presidential candidates on Monday.

The Galanner will be held on Tuesday, November 14 at 18.30 WIB, before the draw for the candidate pair serial number.

"The event started with a galanner presidential-vice presidential candidate, involving the leadership of a political party proposing to register a candidate pair," added Hasyim to reporters.

After the gala dinner, the KPU will hold an open plenary meeting to determine the serial number of presidential and vice presidential candidates.

"Then, we gave each candidate for about 10 minutes to deliver a speech, one team of 10 minutes," he explained.

The KPU has appointed presidential and vice presidential candidates for the 2024 presidential election, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD, and Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
