15 New Johar Brawl Perpetrators Have Been Arrested, The Mastermind Is Still At Large

JAKARTA - The Johar Baru Police have arrested 15 teenage brawlers in the Gang T area, Kampung Rawa Village, Johar Baru District, Central Jakarta. Of the 15 perpetrators, 8 of them are minors.

"Until now, we have arrested 15 teenagers who were involved in the brawl. We are still investigating the roles of each of these teenagers," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Johar Baru Police, AKP Rosyid when confirmed, Sunday, November 12.

AKP Rosyid said that of the 15 teenagers who were arrested, each had a different role. However, the brains of the brawlers with the initials WNG are still being hunted by officers.

"We are still looking for this brain. He moved around and lived and dropped out of school. His role was tracing the brawl and carrying a knife," he said.

AKP Rosyid added that his party had been hunting for other perpetrators for several days. Officers made arrests by visiting the homes of teenagers involved.

"We went to their house, told their parents that their child was seen fighting with us giving evidence of recording," he said.

The teenager who was arrested was from both sides who were involved. He also asked parents to take closer care of their children so as not to get involved in criminal acts.

"We also give advice to parents to supervise their children," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the Johar Baru Police Criminal Investigation Unit was hunting down the perpetrators of the brawl by combing the Kampung Rawa Sawah area, RW 02, Johar Baru District, Thursday, November 9, afternoon. One by one the houses were visited by members of the Johar Baru Police Criminal Investigation Unit.

Based on VOI monitoring at the location, the raid was led by the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Johar Baru Police, AKP Rosyid. Members of the Criminal Investigation Unit searched for the whereabouts of the perpetrators by entering the alleys of a number of narrow alleys.

Although officers have been deployed to a number of points, the perpetrators of the brawl who are still at large have not been found. The reason is, the perpetrators are still at school hours.
