Democrats Ready To Lead Prabowo-Gibran Winning Team In NTB

The chairman of the West Nusa Tenggara Democratic DPD, Indra Jaya Usman, emphasized that the Democratic Party is ready to lead the Regional Victory Team (TKD) for President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.

"If Democrats are given space, given the trust of coalition party colleagues, of course we must be ready, it is impossible not to be ready," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, November 10.

If given the opportunity, the NTB Democrats will fight to win the Prabowo-Gibran pair in the presidential election. This is in line with the instructions of the Chairman of the Democrats Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, so that Democratic cadres are obliged to win Prabowo-Gibran.

"If we are trusted we will go allout to win Prabowo-Gibran," said Iju, his nickname.

Iju stated that although the meeting between the parties of the Indonesia Maju coalition has not yet been held and is only scheduled for next week to discuss the TKD structure, he hopes that the meeting will not only form and fill the management structure.

But how in the future this structure will move to the grassroots, convincing the public that the Prabowo-Gibran pair is indeed the most appropriate, strategic, and most suitable choice for Indonesia in the next five years.

"That's what I think has to be discussed in more detail because it's not a matter of making who the chairman, secretary and so on and then stop there. But we want to move massively, structured and systematically to win Prabowo-Gibran," he explained.

This member of the West Lombok Regency DPRD also added that in general the current coalition illustrates between the senior and junior generations, especially since this coalition raised the issue of reconciliation because during the last 10 years there have been many divisions and this issue has put forward a reconciliational face.

"So there is a spirit of professionalism, a spirit of hard work, and a high fighting. This is what we will convey to the coalition so that it is clear," he added.

Meanwhile, regarding Prabowo-Gibran's vote support in NTB, he is optimistic that Democrat voters will definitely vote for Prabowo-Gibran.

"The vote from the Democrats requires a special survey. The last survey was when he was with Anies, 60 percent of Democrat voters preferred Prabowo and after we joined Prabowo far more than that. In December alone, SBY's influence had an electoral influence on Prabowo," he said.
