Revealing The SYL Extortion Case, Polda Metro Examines Witnesses To Electronic Evidence Tests

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya continues to investigate the alleged extortion case by the KPK leadership against the former Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo. Most recently, investigators will examine witnesses and experts as well as test electronic evidence.

"The examination of witnesses, expert examinations, laboratory tests of electronic evidence confiscated by investigators," said Director of Special Criminal Investigation at the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak, to VOI, Friday, November 10.

Regarding the results of the examination process, it was not clearly conveyed about the number of witnesses and experts who will be questioned today.

Only experts will be asked for their opinions, such as multimedia and digital forensive experts.

"A multi media expert, digital forensic expert and procedural law expert," said Ade.

Meanwhile, until November 9, the progress of the investigation into the alleged extortion case against Syahrul Yasin Limpo, Polda Metro Jaya has examined around 70 witnesses.

Not only witnesses, in an effort to resolve this alleged extortion case, investigators also asked for information from five experts.

The experts are, one micro expression expert, three criminal law experts, and one procedural law expert.

"In addition, by asking for expert opinion. So 70 witnesses and also the progress are 5 expert opinions asked for information by investigators," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko.
