SURABAYA - The Surabaya City Government has confirmed that preparations for the opening of the Indonesia U-17 World Cup have entered the final stages and a number of supporting infrastructures are available, including additional digital scoreboards on the south side.
Head of the Surabaya City Culture, Youth and Sports and Tourism Office (Disbudporapar) Wiwiek Widayati said all divisions had made the most possible efforts to prepare for the opening of the U-17 World Cup.
"Today, all divisions have made the best possible efforts and as optimally as possible to prepare for the event which will be opened on November 10. So all lines have been installed, including digital scoreboards," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, November 8.
According to him, the installation of additional digital scoreboards is indeed optimized by installing the structure first.

His party is only waiting for the opening of the U-17 World Cup which is planned to be attended by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, and Chairman of the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) Erick Thohir.
"We are just waiting for tomorrow's event, everything is 100 percent, Mr. Chairman of PSSI also conveyed that and we are now perfecting, completing, and doing cleaning," said Wiwiek.
