Beaten By Students, Teachers In Middle School In North Luwu, South Sulawesi Report To Police

LUWU UTARA - A teacher at SMP Negeri 2 Baebunta, North Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi (Sulsel) named Hasnayani Biak (40) was beaten by his own student named Aing Pasudi on the chest and back.

After being persecuted by his students, Hasnayani then reported the incident to the Women and Children Service Unit (PPA) of the North Luwu Police Headquarters, Tuesday, November 8. Hasna has also been post-mortem and has bruises on her back.

Regarding the report, the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Kasat Reskrim) of the North Luwu Police, AKP Jodi Titalepta, said that from Hasnayani's provisional statement, the persecution took place at school hours.

The persecution began when the perpetrator abused a student. The student who was crying was then approached by Hasnayani. It turned out that the student was twisted by Aing.

Hasnayani then called Aing and reprimanded him. Aing apparently did not accept the reprimand. When Hasnayani brought the student into the classroom, Aing suddenly hit the victim's chest and back once.

"At that time, because Aing was blind, other students protected his teacher," said Jodi.

Aing's actions made Hasnayani feel sick. He then checked himself at the puskesmas and finally reported Aing to the North Luwu Police Headquarters.
