Chronology Of Drivers In Sukabumi Thwarts Angkot Robbery Business, Victims Of Village Apparatus

SUKABUMI - The city transportation driver (angkot) in Sukabumi Regency, West Java managed to thwart a robbery carried out by robbers against village officials, on Jalan Raya Segog Pintu, Segog Village, Batununggal Village, Cibadak District, Sukabumi Regency.

"One of the three perpetrators of the robbery was arrested by residents and had become a target for the masses and the suspect with the initials HH (42) is currently undergoing examination at the Cibadak Police Headquarters," said Cibadak Police Chief Kompol Ridwan Ishak, Tuesday, November 7.

According to information gathered from the police, the robbery that took place in Batununggal Village, Cibadak District at around 17.00 WIB began when a village official using an ambulance was filling the wind of the car he was using, one of the tire patching sites on Jalan Raya Segog Pintu.

Then, suddenly three robbers came using Daihatsu Xenia's car to raid the village apparatus, then one robber came down and grabbed the bag carried by the village apparatus and immediately fled.

Residents who saw the incident immediately gave chase, fortunately at that time there was an angkot car that immediately caught up and blocked the car used by the robbers.

The perpetrators immediately fled, but one of them with the initials HH was arrested by the public, while the two suspected perpetrators fled and are still being chased by personnel from the Cibadak Police Criminal Investigation Unit.

Residents who were furious with the robbery immediately judged the suspect, but fortunately it wasn't long before the Cibadak Police personnel who were led directly by the Cibadak Police Chief arrived at the location and immediately evacuated the suspect to the Sekarwangi Hospital in Cibadak.

After undergoing treatment, HH was then led to the Cibadak Police Headquarters for questioning regarding the robbery case that had been carried out by him and his two colleagues.

"It is very likely that the victims have been followed by the perpetrators after taking money from a bank. We also appreciate residents who are quick to respond to thwarting the robbery and reporting this case to the police," he added.

Ridwan said that his party had received instructions from the Sukabumi Police Chief AKBP Maruly Pardede to immediately arrest two other robbers who managed to escape. He has also formed a team and coordinated with the Sukabumi Police Satreskrim to hunt down the two wanted lists (DPO).

In addition to arresting the alleged perpetrator, his party also confiscated a Daihatsu Xenia car used by the perpetrators to carry out the action, a letter T key, and cash from the robbery.
