Gibran Bantah Has "Cortified" Golkar, Still PDIP?

Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka said he had officially entered the Golkar Party. Even so, Gibran also did not answer concretely regarding his status in the PDI-P.

"No, there is no such conversation," said the prospective vice presidential candidate from the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) when confirmed in Solo, Central Java, Tuesday, November 11.

Gibran also admitted that he did not come to the Golkar Party Anniversary event in Jakarta, last Monday. "I went to the TKN (National Campaign Team) event for an advanced task," he said.

Asked about his status in the PDI-P, Gibran was reluctant to answer in detail. "Mbak Puan, Pak Hasto, and Pak Komarudin have answered," he said.

He also responded to the statement by the Chairman of the Surakarta City PDI-P DPC FX Hadi Rudyatmo who no longer hoped that Gibran would return the PDI-P membership card (KTA). "Yes, that's fine from Mr. Rudy if that's the case," he said.

Previously, the Chief Executive of the Golkar Party's birthday (HUT), Dito Ariotedjo, said that there was no procession for Gibran Rakabuming Raka wearing a yellow jacket at the peak of the celebration of the Golkar Anniversary. The celebration of the 59th Anniversary of the Golkar Party was held in the courtyard of the Golkar Party DPP Office, West Jakarta, Monday night.

"I am the chairman of Golkar's Anniversary, not on the agenda of Mas Gibran's procession to be worn a yellow jacket. So, really, we want to gather all energy and also Golkar's enthusiasm throughout Indonesia to face the 2024 General Election," said Dito Ariteedjo.

On this occasion, Dito also could not confirm the arrival of Gibran Rakabuming Raka on this agenda. However, he confirmed that he had invited Gibran.
