Indonesian Aid for Palestine Arrives in Egypt Monday Morning

TANGERANG - Indonesia sent another second round of aid to the people of Gaza, Palestine via Soekarno Hatta Airport (Soetta), Tangerang City on Sunday, November 5, evening and will arrive at Egypt's El Arish Airport on Monday, November 6 morning.

Head of the International Relations Division of the Indonesian Police (Kadivhubinter Polri), Inspector General Krishna Murti, said that this evening his departure was using an Air Bus 330 aircraft via Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang City. The plan is to arrive on Monday, November 6, local time.

He added that the reason was that there was a difference between the first and second delivery of humanitarian aid. Because it adapts to El Arish Airport, Egypt.

"Departing tonight, why are the departures different, because the arrival at El Arish Airport (Egypt) must be at the same time, on Monday at 07.00 local time (El Arish Airport)," said Krishna to journalists at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang City, Sunday, November 5.

Krishna also said that tonight's aid amounted to 26.5 tons, covering food and medical equipment. So the total total with the first aid is 51.5 tons.

“(Total) 51.5 tonnes of Indonesian Government assistance. "(For tonight) 26.5 tons in the form of special assistance from the Indonesian government, namely medical equipment," he said

"As well as assistance from the National Police, namely 100 platoon tents, one tent can accommodate 50 people, which in turn can accommodate 5,000 people as well as 1,000 blankets for winter and winter jackets," he continued.

Head of Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Sandi Nugroho, hopes that the assistance sent by the Indonesian Government to Palestine will be useful and a blessing. He also hopes that Indonesia will again provide assistance to Palestine.

“Please pray, Indonesia, so that the journey will be smooth. And what Indonesia sent to Palestine is a blessing for all of us. And hopefully next time we will provide further assistance," he concluded.
