The Rescue Team for the Baubau SAR Post, Kendari Basarnas, evacuated five ship passengers who had a ship accident around the waters of Maginti Island, Muna Regency, Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra).

Head of Basarnas Kendari Muhammad Arafah said the ship accident was first reported by one of the victims named LM. Arjuna, who informed that there had been a ship accident, namely a boat with five passengers on the Maginti Island route and Kasipadangan Island experiencing engine failure due to being hit by a large wave or wave, on Thursday (2/11)

"It was reported by the victim that there had been a ship accident that occurred around the waters of Maginti Island, Muna Regency at 13.05 WITA," said Arafah as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, November 2.

While traveling to the scene, his party received information from the Muna SAR Alert Unit Koorps, who reported that the victims had been evacuated by fishermen to Pasipadangan Village, Muna Regency, Southeast Sulawesi in a safe condition at 14:58 WITA.

"Information from the Muna SAR Alert, which reported that five fishermen had been evacuated safely," he said.
