SURABAYA - Students and activists throughout East Java have declared their support for Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka for the 2024 presidential election.

"Support is given because Prabowo-Gibran shows partiality to the small people," said East Java Student Declaration and Activist Coordinator Saifurrahman in Surabaya as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, November 2.

He said he was very ready to be at the forefront of winning Prabowo- Gibran in the presidential election next year. He considered Prabowo and Gibran worthy of being the next Indonesian leaders.

The student at the State Islamic University, Sunan Ampel (UINSA) Surabaya, believes that Prabowo and Gibran are able to bring Indonesia into a developed country. With the strength of young people, he hopes that Prabowo and Gibran will be able to win the fight.

"Ready to be at the forefront to provide support and win Mr. Prabowo Subianto and Mr. Gibran Rakabuming Raka to become Presidents of Indonesia through the 2024 presidential election," he said.

For this reason, he continued, the presence of strong support from young people strengthens the positioning of Prabowo-Gibran as a pair of presidential and vice presidential candidates. Conditions are increasingly opening up opportunities for Prabowo and Gibran's victory in the 2024 presidential election.

The declaration was made in Surabaya, East Java, attended by students from various campus backgrounds such as UINSA Surabaya, University 17 August 1945, Airlangga University, Veterans National Development University (UPN) East Java, to Nahdlatul Ulama University Surabaya (UNUSA).
