The Prosecutor's Office Names Corruption Suspects For The Enok Fugitive River Bridge

PeKANBARU - Riau High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) has named a suspect in the alleged corruption in the construction of the Sungai Enok Bridge, Enok District, Indragiri Hilir Regency HM Fadillah Akbar as a fugitive and on the wanted list.

Head of the Legal Information Section (Kasi) and Public Relations of the Riau Prosecutor's Office, Bambang Heripurwanto, explained that the identity of HM Fadilah Akbar had been distributed to facilitate the search process. The handling of the case was carried out by the Investigation Prosecutor's Team in the Special Crimes Division (Pidsus) of the Riau Prosecutor's Office.

The projects being investigated were activities carried out in 2012 by the Public Works (PU) Office of Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) Regency. For this, the Riau Prosecutor's Office finally designated HM Fadillah as a DPO," said Bambang.

The suspects are Budhi Syaputra. He is a former Director of PT Bonai Riau Jaya (BRJ). Then, HM Fadillah Akbar who is the Director of PT BRJ. The company is a partner who worked on the project.

Earlier on Thursday (7/9), both were summoned to undergo examination as witnesses. However, at that time, only Budhi was present to fulfill the investigator's summons, while HM Fadillah was absent from the summons.

On the same day, investigators named both of them as suspects, and immediately detained Budhi Syaputra and entrusted him to the Pekanbaru Class I State Detention Center (Rutan).

Since then, investigators have tried to make legal and appropriate summons to HM Fadillah. But until now, he has not shown his nose at the Riau Prosecutor's Office.

Photos and DPO identities have also been distributed. Bambang said he was male, who was born in Tembilahan on April 23, 1975. HM Fadilah is a resident of Ring Road II Number 20A RT 003 RW 002 Pekan Arba Village, Tembilahan District, Inhil.

Bambang said, HM Fadillah has characteristics with a height of 1075 centimeters, mature sawo skin, oval shape and curly hair.
