Nevertheless, he ensured that two Indonesian families, each living in Gaza City in the north and in southern Gaza, were safe amid the ongoing fighting between Israel and the Palestinian Hamas group. “Communications with Indonesian citizens continue to be carried out. Their condition survived at their respective locations, ” he said. Judha then said that the evacuation team from the Indonesian Embassy in Cairo had been on standby at the Rafah Border between Egypt and Gaza, since Wednesday afternoon. " “Kemlu, the Indonesian Embassy in Amman, and the Indonesian Embassy in Cairo continue to coordinate and communicate intensively for the evacuation of Indonesian citizens in Gaza,” said Judha. Currently, 10 Indonesian citizens are in Gaza, three of whom are MER-C volunteers at Indonesian Hospitals, namely Fikri Rofiul Haq, Reza Aldilla Kurniawan, and Farid Zanzabil Al Ayudi.

The three refused to be evacuated and chose to continue their humanitarian work in Gaza. Meanwhile, the seven Indonesian citizens who will be evacuated consist of two Indonesian families, namely Abdillah Onim's family and Muhammad Hussein's family and their children.
