JAKARTA - An earthquake with a magnitude (M) of 5.1 hit the Northwest of Sabang City, Aceh Province.
The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) informed that the earthquake occurred at 19.51 WIB on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.
The earthquake was located at 10.90 North Latitude, 92.32 East Longitude or to be precise 648 km Northwest of Sabang City.
BMKG has not reported the impact of the earthquake which has a depth of 83 kilometers.
People affected are asked to be aware of aftershocks.
