Prabowo-Gibran Registers With KPU, This Is A Group Of Ministers Who Apply For Leave

JAKARTA - The pair for presidential and vice presidential candidates, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, will register with the General Elections Commission (KPU) on Wednesday, October 25 morning.

The existence of Prabowo-Gibran registration made a number of ministers in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet apply for leave to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) through the Ministry of State Secretariat (Kemensetneg). This has been confirmed by the Presidential Special Staff Coordinator Ari Dwipayana.

Ari conveyed that a number of ministers who applied for leave were Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board Bahlil Lahadalia, and Minister of Information Communication Budi Arie Setiadi.

In addition, there are the names of deputy ministers who apply for leave, namely Deputy Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning Raja Juli Antoni and Deputy Minister of Trade Jerry Sambuaga.

"On October 24, 2023, the Ministry of State Secretariat has received a letter addressed to the President from the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, the Minister of Trade, and the Deputy Minister for ATR BPN," Ari said in a written statement, Wednesday, October 25.

"The letter of application for leave was also submitted by the Minister of Communication and Information and the Deputy Minister of Trade," he continued.

In addition, Ari conveyed that based on information from the Ministry of State Secretariat, there would be ministers and deputy ministers who would follow up to apply for leave to participate in the Prabowo-Gibran registration to the KPU.
