JAKARTA - The Golkar Party held a meeting of the electoral winning body (Bappilu) to secure the presidential election (pilpres) and the 2024 legislative elections (pileg).

During the meeting, the Chairman of the West Kalimantan Golkar DPD (Kalbar) Maman Abdurrahman was appointed as chairman of Bappilu, senior politician Idrus Marham as chairman of the Bappilu advisory board, and Deputy Head of Golkar Ridwan Kamil was assigned to be combat commanders in West Java, DKI, and Banten.

"Bappilu was formed very technically and operationally, meaning that Bappilu based on the direction of the chairman of Golkar Airlangga Hartarto was strengthened by several management structures, and here, thank God we got additional energy to contribute the mind of the chairman of the Bappilu advisory board of the Golkar Party, namely Mr. Idrus Marham. Of course this is an additional positive energy for all of us," said Maman Abdurrahman at the Golkar DPP, Tuesday, October 24.

"I was assigned by the Golkar party to become the chairman of Bappilu. And later in Bappilu, the structure will also be filled a lot. Apart from earlier friends in the DPP structure. Ridwan Kamil will get his duties as a combat commander in West Java according to his main duties and functions. former governor of West Java," he continued.

Especially for Ridwan Kamil, he was given a direct mandate to win the 2024 presidential election. "So, in principle, he is ready to undergo an assignment from the Golkar party to the presidential election winning contest," said Maman.

Maman explained that Bappilu also received directions from the Head of Golkar Airlangga Hartarto to ensure that all party infrastructure power networks from the center to the village structure can work and consolidate in order to win the presidential election.

"Where we have pushed and nominated Mr. Prabowo Subianto as a presidential candidate and the vice presidential candidate is Mr. Gibran Rakabuming," he explained.

In addition, Bappilu was also mandated to succeed in the legislative election which was held in February 2024. Bappilu, said Maman, had prepared Prabowo and Gibran's victory as president and vice president in 2024-2029.
