YOGYAKARTA Member III of the Indonesian Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) Achsanul Qosasi was also dragged into the vortex of corruption cases in the construction of the Base Transceiver Station (BTS) 4G tower and supporting infrastructure 1,2,4 and 5. Previously, during a trial at the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court, Monday, October 23, the Public Prosecutor (JPU) of the Attorney General's Office conducted an examination of the defendant, former President Director of PT Mora Telematika Indonesia, Galumbang Menak, as a defendant in the alleged corruption case in the construction of 4G BTS.

To Galumbang, the prosecutor asked about the figure of AQ who was mentioned in a conversation between the Commissioner of PT Solitech Media Sinergy, Irwan Hermawan and the President Director of the Telecommunication and Information Accessibility Agency (Bakti) Kominfo, Anang Achmad Latif.

"Do you know who AQ means?" asked the prosecutor.

"Yes, Mr. Achsanul," answered Galumbang.

"Achsanul who?" said the prosecutor.

"Qosasi," said Galumbang.

"Who is Achsanul Qosasi?" said the prosecutor.

"Members of the BPK, the prosecutor," said Galumbang.

The following, when the prosecutor questioned whether there was a connection between Achsanul Qosasi and the 4G BTS project fund flow worth Rp40 billion which had led to the BPK, Galumbang admitted that he did not know about it.

So, what is the figure of Achsanul Qosasi?

Profile of Achsanul Qosasi is a member of III of the Supreme Audit Agency. He held the position from October 2017 until now. Previously, Qosasi served as a member of VII BPK from 2014 to 2017.

Born in Sumenep, Madura on January 10, 1966, Qosasi has a fairly flashy track record in the world of politics.

For your information, Qosasi is the son of a great scholar in Madura. After his father died, he continued his education in Jakarta.

Achsanul Qosasi won an Economic Bachelor's degree from Pancasila University. Then, his Master's degree was obtained from Jose Rizal University, Philippines.

Furthermore, Achsanul was trusted to become a Member of XII of the Indonesian Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) from October 2014 to April 2017. Then, the III Member of the BPK RI has twice the period, namely from April 2017 to October 2019 and October 2019 until now.

When he was a member of BPK III, Qosasi also served as the Advisory Board of the Islamic Economic Community. He has held this position since 2012. In fact, he is also trusted as General Chair of Garuda Tani since 2008 until now.

Not only that, Achsanul Qosasi also has a track record in the world of Indonesian football. He was once involved in a number of organizations, such as PSSI in 2007-2011. At that time, he was trusted as the treasurer of PSSI.
