Father Kills Daughter Of Kandung, Perpetrator Claims To Be Emotional Victim Feels Harassed During Bath

MATARAM - Mataram City Police in West Nusa Tenggara revealed the confession of a father with the initials S (42) who is a suspect in the murder case of his biological daughter with the initials NRF.

Head of Satreskrim Polresta Mataram Kompol I Made Yogi Purusa said, at the beginning of the arrest of S on Saturday (21/10) night gave a different statement to investigators.

"Initially the perpetrator explained that he was emotional when the victim passed through his prayer mat. The perpetrator was angry, and immediately hit the victim," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, October 23.

However, recently the suspect withdrew his statement by explaining that the action actually occurred while bathing the victim.

While bathing, the victim felt harassed by the suspect and the act of his biological father was about to be reported to the victim's uncle.

"This is a new submission from the suspect. He (the suspect) admitted that he had dark eyes after hearing the victim say that, because of emotion, the victim was beaten," he said.

With this information, he said, investigators could not draw conclusions only from the suspect's statement but still had to wait for the results of the Bhayangkara Mataram Hospital which carried out an autopsy on NRF's body.

"There will also be reconstruction later. From there it will be visible," he said.

In addition, investigators who have named S as a suspect will conduct a psychological examination. This examination is to ensure the psychology of the suspect when he killed the victim who died at the age of 9.

"Although we see that the suspect is healthy, there is no mental or psychological disorder, we will still use an expert doctor later. Because this is an extraordinary incident, biological fathers abuse their children to death," he said.

The victims in this case came from Karang Kemong, Cakranegara District, Mataram. His biological father with the initials S (42), killed the victim on Saturday (21/10) afternoon, around 16.00 WITA.

Based on information from residents, the police helped the victim's family evacuate the victim's body, which was given medical help at a clinic in the Cakranegara area.

About three hours later, they received information from residents, the police arrested the victim's biological father who was hiding at a colleague's house in the Dasan Agung area, Mataram City.

As a suspect, the police determined that S's actions violated Article 80 in conjunction with Article 76c, d and e of Law Number 35/2014 concerning Child Protection. The suspect is currently undergoing detention at the Mataram Police Detention Center.
