Not Involved In Completion Of Presidential And Vice Presidential Candidate Visions, Mahfud MD: It Turns Out To Be Very Extraordinary

JAKARTA - The vice presidential candidate Mahfud MD will talk about Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD's vision and mission for the 2024 presidential election which has been released on the day of registration to the General Elections Commission (KPU).

Mahfud is known to have not been involved in his preparation because it was done before he was chosen as Ganjar's vice presidential candidate. However, Mahfud views the idea in his vision and mission as very good.

"I was just told (to become a vice presidential candidate) on the 17th of the afternoon. This team was already running, so when I went to the KPU yesterday I was briefed on the vision and mission. It turned out to be very extraordinary good," said Mahfud at the Media Center of the National Winning Team Ganjar President, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Sunday, October 22.

According to Mahfud, the visions and missions contained are similar to the problems of Indonesia that he has been thinking about. It starts from the economy, investment, political arrangement, to law enforcement.

"Wow, this is great, it's just doing it. I think the vision and mission made has made an image of Indonesia's current situation," Mahfud explained.

"That's an image that we build forward. We are preparing for at least the next five years what to do. So, the next five years and then there will be a road slice that must start from now on, from the next five years, from 2024 to 2029," he added.

It is known, in the vision and mission document of Ganjar-Mahfud, this candidate for presidential and vice-presidential candidates will have a vision towards superior Indonesia.

Meanwhile, their mission includes accelerating Indonesia's superior human development of quality, productive, and personality; accelerate mastery of science and technology through accelerating research and independent innovation; accelerate the development of a career economy based on knowledge and added value.

Then, accelerate equitable economic development; accelerate the development of a national digital system; accelerate the realization of a sustainable environment through a green and blue economy; accelerate the implementation of substantive democracy; human rights respect, fair rule of law, and professional security.

Furthermore, accelerating the increase in Indonesia's role in realizing a new world system that is more just through active free foreign politics and strengthening national defense.
