Involved In A Brawl, 9 South Jakarta Youth Arrested By Police

The police have arrested one perpetrator with the initials RD (24), for allegedly being involved in a brawl in the Manggarai area, South Jakarta. He arrested officers when a joint patrol team conducted a search, one of which was the Manggarai area, South Jakarta.

The head of the South Jakarta Police, AKBP Rosa Witarsa, confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Sunday, October 22, around the early hours of the morning.

"While carrying out the joint patrol that was led by the Tebet police chief, he arrested 1 young man who was suspected of having a brawl," said Rosa in her statement, Sunday, October 22.

In addition to arresting the perpetrators, his party also secured evidence in the form of two severe pieces and 1 golf club. The suspect's contemporary activities were brought to the police. The goal is to take further action.

"Around them hanging out found 3 pieces of evidence in the form of 2 machetes and 1 golf club," he said.

In addition to the Manggarai area, South Jakarta, said Rosa, his party also combed to other areas suspected of fighting. As a result, eight youths were also arrested.

"The young man has the initials H (19), LPV (20), AM (14), MA (15), FF (15), MN (16), MR (17) and RDU (16)," he concluded.
