Three Headless Bodies In Lampung Identified

BANDAR LAMPUNG - Lampung Regional Police revealed that three of the four bodies found in the waters of South Lampung Regency and Tanggamus were identified after DNA samples were matched.

"The results of the comparison DNA matching carried out at the DNA Laboratory of the National Police Health Center stated that three bodies were identified on behalf of, Kasdi, Tarsoni, and Agus Sutanto, while one body was not found to match the comparison sample," said Head of the Lampung Police Dokkes Kombes Mardi Sudarman quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, October 18.

He explained that before matching the DNA samples of the four bodies, the Lampung Police had coordinated with the West Java Regional Police to contact the families of the victims suspected of being in Indramayu.

"The Indramayu Police managed to contact seven of the nine families of the victims and immediately took DNA samples, then sent them to the DNA Laboratory of the National Police Health Center for matching with the four bodies," he said.

Based on the results of the matching of two headless bodies found in the South Lampung Police area, it was identified as Kasdi or Tarsoni (brother and younger brother) who is the son of Kayim.

"Then another headless body found in the South Lampung Police area was identified in the name of Agus Sutanto, Sri Adinda's biological father," he said.

Then, the results of DNA samples for bodies found in the Tanggamus Police area were identified as Kasdi or Tarsoni (brother and younger brother) who was the son of Kayim.

"Meanwhile, one body found in Tanggamus was not identified because it did not match the comparison DNA," he said.

According to him, related to this headless corpse that was found, it was not due to mutilation but a result of a normative decay process.

"This is due to the normative decay process in sea water which causes the body's organs to be cut off. So it's not mutilation but all organs of the body are cut off due to normative decay in sea water," he said.

The Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Regional Police, Kombes Umi Fadilah Astutik, said that in order to find out the identities of the four headsless bodies, the police had previously opened a 'hotline' at the South Lampung Police and Tanggamus as well as at the Lampung Police Ditreskrimum.

"There were 30 residents who called the 'hotline', one of which was a June mother who informed that her family was missing with characteristics that had been exposed in the media," he said.

His party followed up on the report and the Lampung Regional Police's Ditreskrimum immediately carried out development and deepening in coordination with the West Java and Metro Jaya Police.

"From the results of the coordination, information was obtained that the Polda Metro Jaya on August 27, 2023 received a report from Heli Susanto as the ship's administrator for an accident at sea. From there the police developed an examination of witnesses, Brother Jawardi and Brother Firmansyah, and received chronological information about the marine accident.

The Lampung Regional Police previously found four bodies, two in Tanggamus Regency and two in South Lampung Regency. The four bodies had no head, palms, and soles.
