Circulating photos of the meeting of the General Chairperson of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri and Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD ahead of the announcement of the vice presidential candidate (cawapres) accompanying Ganjar Pranowo.

The two of them were seen taking pictures in a living room with Megawati's photo background. There has been no information about the alleged meeting at Megawati's residence, Jalan Teuku Umar, Menteng, Central Jakarta

As previously reported, the Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto said the candidate for vice president (cawapres) to accompany Ganjar Pranowo would be announced on Wednesday, October 18 at 10.00 WIB. The announcement was made at the PDIP DPP office, Menteng, Central Jakarta.

"Tomorrow on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 10:00, a vice presidential candidate will be announced who will accompany Pak Ganjar Pranowo," Hasto told reporters at the residence of PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri, Teuku Umar, South Jakarta, Tuesday, October 17.

"So please pray for his blessing," he continued.

It has not been detailed about who Ganjar's future assistant will be. However, he smiled when he was called the figure with the initials M even though he finally called him Indonesia Raya.

The news about the figure M who will accompany Ganjar was conveyed by Deputy Chairman of the National Winning Team Ganjar Presiden (TPN GP) Benny Rhamdani. However, he did not want to provide any lattices.

"Who is M? Can Mahfud MD, can Mas Gibran, Mas Erick Thohir, Mas Andika Perkasa," said Benny to reporters in Jakarta, Tuesday, October 17.

"What is certain is the initials M," he concluded.
