BLBI Task Force Confiscates Land Assets In Banten Worth IDR 171.68 Billion

JAKARTA - The Task Force for Handling State Collection Rights for the Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance Fund (BLBI Task Force) confiscated land and building assets in Banten worth IDR 171.68 billion.

The confiscation was carried out through the installation of a security sign on the property assets of the former National Bank Restructuring Agency (BPPN) or former BLBI in the form of 85.84 hectares of land located in Bojong Village and Budi Mulya Village, Cikupa District, Tangerang Regency, Banten.

"The estimated value is IDR 171,681,600,000.00 based on the NJOP (Tax Object Selling Value) of the Land," said Head of the BLBI Task Force Rionald Silaban as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 17.

The land and building assets come from the Secured Goods Taken Over (BJDA) of the former debtor of PT Pentabinangun Sejahtera or former director of PT Bank Indonesia Raya (Bank Bira Tbk) BBKU.

Currently, the assets of the former BPPN/ex BLBI which have been controlled by the BLBI Task Force are state assets managed by the Ministry of Finance cq. The Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) and is a priority for handling by the BLBI Task Force.

Physical control of property assets of former BPPN/ex BLBI was carried out by the BLBI Task Force Team together with representatives of DJKN of the Ministry of Finance in the Banten and Tangerang regions. The control of assets was also accompanied by security from the BLBI Bareskrim Polri Gakkum Task Force Team, the Head of the Tangerang Regency Land Office, and local government officials.

Rionald said the assets that had been carried out by physical control, such as the assets of the former BPPN/ex BLBI, would then optimize management in accordance with applicable regulations.

"For the next stage, the BLBI Task Force has planned acts of physical control over property assets spread across various cities/regencies in Indonesia," said Rionald.
