Minister Of ATR/BPN: Land Of Ulayat Gives Benefits To The Community Economy

JAKARTA - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Hadi Tjahjanto revealed that the land of Ulayat provides benefits and economic improvements for the community.

"The land of Ulayat is now no longer a sleeping ground, but has been built because it provides benefits and economic improvements for the entire community," said Hadi Tjahjanto, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 10.

According to Hadi, the customary land that has been registered and given the Right to Management can be cooperated on it by being given the Right to Futures Land such as HGU, HGB and Use Rights. Therefore, the land in the future is not only seen as a stationary asset.

For the first time in Indonesia's history, since the 1960 Agrarian Basic Law was born, the Land of Ulayat has legally obtained legal certainty through a Certificate of Management Rights.

The certificate was directly handed over by the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN, during his working visit to West Sumatra, on Tuesday (10/10).

Hadi Tjahjanto handed over a Certificate of Management Rights for the Land of the Sungayang Nagari Customary Meeting in the form of three certificates of four-tribal designation rights, namely the Chaniago Tribe, the Piliang Tribe, the Kuti Anyir Tribe, and the Mandailing Tribe. With the use for agricultural land with a total land area of 107,714 m2

"I hope that in the future in West Sumatra Province, which covers an area of 352,000 hectares, can be certified," said Hadi Tjahjanto.

In its entrepreneurship and safeguarding, the Minister of ATR/BPN asked the entire nagari community that the certificates that have been given to be properly, be worked on and given a marker/boundary marker.

"If necessary, the certificate will be photographed first and stored in a separate place with the original certificate. Do not misuse it or be given to unauthorized parties," said the Minister of ATR/BPN.

Hadi Tjahjanto also handed over a Certificate of Management Rights for the Land of Ulayat Nagari Adat Tanjung Haro Sikabu-kabu Padang Panjang and the Nagari Sungai Kauyang Customary Meeting.

In detail, the Minister of ATR/BPN handed over three Management Rights Certificates, namely two HPL certificates on behalf of the Tanjung Haro Sikabu-Kaba Padang Panjang Traditional Meeting, consisting of five tribes, namely Benting, Pitobang Tribe, Payodadar Tribe, Piliang Tribe, and Supanjang Tribe.

Another HPL certificate for customary land was handed over by Hadi Tjahjanto on behalf of the Nagari Sungai Kamuyang Customary Meeting consisting of four tribes, namely the Petopang Tribe, Piliang Tribe, Mandailing Tribe and Chaniago Tribe.

With the use for Agricultural Land, with a total land area of 131.8 hectares. In addition, a Certificate of Rights for the Government of Nagari Tanjung Haro Sikabu-kabu covering an area of 1,713 m2.
