Prabowo And SBY Accompanied Jokowi Receiving Defiles At The 78th Anniversary Of The Senja Parade Of The TNI

JAKARTA - Defense Minister (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto accompanied President Joko Widodo (Jokwoi) to receive a defile at the Senja Parade ceremony at the Defense State Field of the Ministry of Defense (Kemenhan), Jakarta, Monday, October 9 evening.

The defile features troops from three TNI dimensions, namely the Army, Navy, and Air Force, as well as from the Police.

The Senja Parade ceremony is a series of events celebrating the 78th Anniversary of the TNI with the main agenda of lowering the Red and White flag which takes the afternoon until the evening arrives.

The ceremony was chaired directly by President Joko Widodo who arrived at the venue at around 18.10 WIB. The President was greeted by Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto.

Upacara dimulai dengan laporan komandan upacara kepada Jokowi selaku inspektur upacara. Selanjutnya memimpin prosesi mengheningkan cipta untuk menghormati para pejuang bangsa dan para pahlawan yang telah gugur.

Apart from Prabowo, he also accompanied Jokowi, namely the 6th president of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono or SBY as well as the heads of staff of the TNI dimension.

After accompanying President Jokowi, Prabowo then led the Dirgahayu TNI 05 October 1946 '05 October 2023 gala event which is also located in the courtyard of the Ministry of Defense Building.

Starting the event, Prabowo invited all participants who were present to have a moment of silence, remembering the services of the heroes who had died.

"Let's have a moment of silence remembering the services of heroes who have died for the sake of Indonesia's independence," said Prabowo.

The event continued by listening to the remarks delivered directly by Prabowo Subianto and SBY, and closed with prayer and eating with all participants.
