2 Ambon Police Personnel Involved In Senpi Sales Fired

JAKARTA - Ambon Island Police Chief and PP Lease Kombes Pol Driyano Andri Ibrahim confirmed that two of the three local police personnel involved in the crime of selling firearms (senpi) had been dishonorably fired (PTDH) from service.

"One other personnel involved in immoral violations has also been PTDH in an official ceremony at the Ambon Police Headquarters," said the Police Chief in Ambon, Sunday, quoting Antara.

PTDH's decision from this official service is in accordance with the mechanism, because it has gone through the trial process as a form of enforcement of rules and discipline

Three Polri personnel who have been dishonorably dismissed from service are Bripka Rahim Tomia who has been serving at the Nusalaut Police, Brigpol Romy Arwanpitu and Bripka San Herman Palijama who served at the Ambon Island Police.

"PTDH is based on the decision letter of the Maluku Police Chief number KEP/466/I/2023 tangal 21 September 2023 on behalf of Brigka Rahim Tomia, Kep/467/IX/2023 for Brigpol Romy and Brigpol San Herman Pailama based on Decree number Kep/468/IX/2023 dated 21 September 2023," explained the Police Chief.

Those who were PTDH were not present in person at the ceremony (absence) and their activities took place at the Mapolresta courtyard witnessed by the main officials and all personnel to become lessons for personnel and known in general.

The Police Chief expressed his gratitude to all ranks who have carried out their duties well so far with full discipline and dedication and loyalty to the Polri institution, especially at the Ambon Police.

The PTDH ceremony at the Ambon Island Police Headquarters is the first time this year, where the Ambon Island Police Chief gave a cross and wrote PTDH on the photos of the three personnel.

He also hopes that the personnel who are subject to strict sanctions in the form of dismissal from service can accept the decision with an open heart.
