Case Of Abuse Of Village Cash Land In Pakem And Maguwoharjo Sleman, DIY Prosecutor's Office Checks 2 Active Village Heads

DIY - The High Prosecutor's Office (Kajati) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) is investigating allegations of misuse of village treasury land (TKD) in Pakem and Maguwoharjo sub-districts, Sleman Regency. Assistant for Special Crimes (Aspidsus) of the DIY Prosecutor's Office Muhammad Anshar Wahyuddin said the investigation team had examined two active village heads as witnesses regarding the case. "For the time being, the village head will be active. What kind of development will be, whether it involves the village head who has retired or not," he said at the DIY Prosecutor's Office, Yogyakarta, Thursday, October 5, which was confiscated by Antara. According to him, there has been no determination of the suspect in the TKD case in Candibinangun and Maguwoharjo sub-districts. Anshar emphasized that the handling related to the case is still in the stage of summoning witnesses. "The suspect has not yet been (determined), is still at the stage of summoning witnesses. Hopefully, there will be developments in the near future," he said.

Anshar said the investigation into the alleged misuse of TKD in the two villages was still related to the land mafia case involving Robinson Saalino as President Director of PT Deztama Putri Sentosa who was undergoing trial at the Yogyakarta District Court (PN). He said the alleged misappropriation of TKD in Candibinangun Village was in one location, while in Maguwoharjo Village in two locations, all of which were allegedly misused for residential land. "All of this has to do with Robinson, a total of four (dots) are temporarily used as housing," said Anshar. The boss of PT Deztama Putri Sentosa Robinson Saalino is currently undergoing trial at the Yogyakarta District Court for the alleged case of misuse of TKD in Caturtunggal, Depok, Sleman, DIY, which is estimated to have cost the state finances Rp2.9 billion. During a trial at the Yogyakarta District Court on Monday, September 25, the public prosecutor (JPU) charged Robinson with 8 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 300 million, subsidiary to 3 months in prison. Apart from Robinson, the Head of Caturtunggal Village, Agus Santoso, also underwent trial on charges of neglecting the alleged abuse of TKD in his area.
