Experiencing Mental Disorders, Elderly Desperately Jumping From The 6th Floor Of The Modernland Apartment, Tangerang

TANGERANG - A man with the initials TS (65) chose to end his life by jumping from the 6th floor of Modernland Apartment, Tangerang City. It is suspected that the victim was depressed due to mental disorders (skizophrenia) or disorders to think.

Tangerang Police Chief, AKP Suyatno said the incident occurred on Monday night, October 2.

He said the incident began when the witness, FF, who served as security in Moderland, heard the sound of a falling object. It turned out that when checked, the victim was lying dead.

"A sound of objects falling around the car park area, and when he was checked he saw the victim was already in a prone position on the ground," said Suyatno in his statement, Wednesday, October 4.

The police who received the report investigated the case. Based on the results of the examination, Suyatno said there was a bucket foothold to jump.

Then, based on the victim's family's statement, TS experienced a mental disorder.

"For this incident, the victim's family objected to autopsy on the body," he concluded.
