Bengkalis Police Arrest Courier Of Methamphetamine Saves 9 MM Caliber Senpi

RIAU - Bengkalis Police arrested Mesri (37), a drug courier from Janggung Village, Bengkalis District with evidence of 406.69 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 10 ecstasy pills.

Bengkalis Police Chief AKBP Setyo Bimo Anggoro said that from the hands of the perpetrators, an illegal firearm (senpi) was also secured along with a 9-millimeter caliber bullet.

"In addition to methamphetamine and ecstasy pills, we also managed to confiscate one Clock 19 firearm along with 29 9 mm caliber ammunition from the suspect Mesri in Jangkarang Bengkalis Village," he said in a press statement, Tuesday, September 26, which was confiscated by Antara.

According to Setyo, this disclosure began with reports from the public who entered the Bengkalis Police.

From the suspect's confession, he continued, possession of methamphetamine, ecstasy and senpi was obtained from RP alias B, while the gun was obtained from N alias Iwan, a resident of North Sumatra.

"The role of the suspect as a courier was ordered by RP alias B to pick up and take narcotics type methamphetamine into the middle of the sea using a speedboat and the suspect is currently being secured at the Police Headquarters for further investigation regarding the possession of the rifle," said Setyo.
