Mode Gives Passengers, Youth From Aceh Rape Children In Cars

SUKA MAKMUE - Personnel from the Nagan Raya Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Aceh, arrested a young man with the initials AR, for allegedly committing a criminal act of rape against a minor who is still in a school in a local district.

"We arrested the perpetrator after this case was reported by the victim's parents," said Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Nagan Raya Police, Aceh, AKP Machfud, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 26.

Machfud explained that the arrest of AR was carried out by the police in the Lueng Baro area, Suka Makmue District, after the police found out that the perpetrator was in this area.

Based on information obtained by the police, acts of rape and sexual harassment by suspect AR against the victim occurred in the Innova car driven by the perpetrator.

At that time, the victim Seulanga was walking home from school, and suspect AR offered the victim a ride to take her home.

When he was about to arrive at the victim's house, suspect AR then turned his car towards Meulaboh, the capital city of West Aceh Regency and at that time he began to act by touching the victim's body.

Not only that, suspect AR also took the victim in his car to the Suka Makmue Office Complex, and at this location the perpetrator also vented his lust, by taking off the school uniform worn by the victim.

Although the victim screamed in pain and tried to fight back, the perpetrator continued to carry out his depraved act.

After carrying out the action, suspect AR then took the victim to his parents' house. However, when the victim was about to get out of his car, the victim's cousin had time to block the perpetrator's car.

"Currently, we have detained suspect AR at the Nagan Raya Police Headquarters, to be legally accountable for his actions," said Machfud.

The police charged the suspect AR with Article 181 of Aceh Qanun Number 7 of 2013 concerning Jinayat Law.
