Looking For Gratification Results, KPK Cecar Wife And In-laws Former Head Of Makassar Customs Andhi Pramono

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is questioning Nurlina Burhanuddin, who is the wife and in-laws of the former Head of Makassar Customs Andhi Pramono, Kamariah. Both were asked about the flow of money from gratification which was converted into assets.

"Witnesses who were present were studied, among others, related to the alleged ownership of assets of economic value from the suspect AP, one of which was in Batam," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Monday, September 25.

In addition, investigators also examined the information from other witnesses. They are Junaidi, Rony Falsah, Pratinsa, and Ferdi Ahmad who are private parties; and an entrepreneur named Sepryanto.

They were also asked who else received and helped Andhi disguise the money from gratification. The statements of these witnesses are needed to investigate allegations of receiving gratuities and money laundering (TPPU).

"In addition, it was also confirmed that there was a flow of funds, both received by the suspect AP and those that were deliberately channeled back to several parties in an effort to disguise the origin of their ownership," said Ali.

The KPK previously detained the former Head of Makassar Customs andhi Pramono. He is suspected of receiving gratuities in the form of a fee after becoming a broker for export-import entrepreneurs.

To make this acceptance, Andhi allegedly used an account belonging to his trusted person who was a businessman. They became nominees so that the gift to him was not detected.

It didn't stop there, Andhi was also suspected of committing a crime of money laundering (TPPU). This allegation arose because he disguised the purchase of assets using the names of other people, including his mother-in-law.

Andhi is said that the KPK received a fee of up to Rp28 billion and the amount could continue to grow. The money was then purchased for various purposes such as diamonds, insurance policies, to houses in the Pejaten area, South Jakarta worth Rp20 billion.
