Ambassador Faizasyah Submits Letter Of Trust To The King Of Norway

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway Teuku Faizasyah handed over a letter of trust from the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo to the King of Norway Wald V during a ceremony at The Royal Palace, Oslo.

The ceremony began with an inspection of the honorary ranks of the Royal Norwegian army in front of the King's Palace.

According to information from the Indonesian Embassy in Oslo received on Saturday, Faizasyah expressed his gratitude for the close and warm relations and cooperation between Indonesia and Norway, which have been running for more than 73 years since 1950.

"I convey to King Harald V that I am committed to improving Indonesia's relations with Norway in various fields, especially in the fields of green economy, environment, democracy, marine and fisheries, and renewable energy," said Faizasyah as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, September 23.

"In addition, the two countries will continue to increase collaboration in various regional and global forums for various issues related to the benefit of the global community," he continued.

The King of Wald V welcomed Faizasyah and supported the implementation of the ambassador's duties in increasing bilateral cooperation that contributed to the welfare of the people in the two countries.

The handover of the credentials was also carried out by the ambassadors of Switzerland, Peru and Canada.

After the ceremony, all ambassadors were invited to attend a reception meeting with officials from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

With the submission of the credentials, Faizasyah officially serves as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Kingdom of Norway.
