JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is questioning the Secretary of the Planning and Development Agency of the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) I Nyoman Darmanta regarding the auction process for the Indonesian labor protection system (TKI) procurement project.
Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri said Nyoman was examined along with two other witnesses, namely former Secretary General of the Ministry of Manpower M. A. Hasoloan and civil servant (PNS) of the Ministry of Manpower Rima Febrina Laura A. The examination was carried out at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, September 21.
"Witnesses were present and their knowledge was explored, among others, related to the preparation and implementation of the auction for the project to procure the TKI protection system at the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower," Ali said in a written statement quoted on Saturday, September 23.
Previously reported, the KPK has named three suspects in the corruption case in the procurement of this system. Although not yet mentioned, information circulated that the three were the Secretary of the Planning and Development Agency of the Ministry of Manpower I Nyoman Darmanta, the former Director General of the Ministry of Manpower who is now the Chairman of the Bali PKB DPW Reyna Usman, and a private sector.
