JAKARTA - Iran showcased its military arsenal at Friday's Iran-Irak War Memorial parade, including showing drones claimed to have the furthest range in the world, ballistic missiles and hypersonic missiles, Iranian state media said.

They said the drone was "disbursed" in the parade, which was broadcast live, along with a number of other drones featured at the event, such as Mohajer, Shahed and Arash.

"Our troops guarantee security in the Persian region and Gulf," President Ebrahim Raisi said at Friday's parade in the capital Tehran.

"We can teach people in this area, resistance is the way it is currently doing. What forces the enemy to resign is not conflict and balance, but resistance," he said.

Iran last month said it had built an advanced drone called Mohajer-10 with increased flight range and duration, as well as larger payloads.

The drone has an operational range of 2,000 km (1,240 miles) and can fly for up to 24 hours, state media reported at the time, adding that its payload could reach 300 kg, doubling the capacity of the Mohajer-6 drone.

The United States accuses Iran of providing the Mohajer-6 drone, among other unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), to Russia for the fight against Ukraine. Iran denies the allegations, saying it does not provide drones to Russia for conflict in Ukraine.

It is known that the Iran-Iraq War erupted on September 22, 1980 when Iraqi President Saddam Hussein invaded Iran. The conflict, which had a negative economic impact and left at least half a million people dead, ended in a stalemate in August 1988.
