Prabowo Doesn't Mind Duet With Ganjar In The 2024 Presidential Election, Alluding To Unity

JAKARTA - The presidential candidate for the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) Prabowo Subianto did not deny his willingness to be paired with the candidate for PDI-P presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 presidential election.

According to him, if it is a mandate from the people, then he has no objection to pairing up with Ganjar as president and vice president.

"Whatever is mandated by the people, we respect. The best is for the people," Prabowo said at the JCC, Thursday, September 21.

Prabowo emphasized that the Indonesian people want their leaders to be harmonious and peaceful. So as long as it is good for unity, the Gerindra chairman has no problem working with his political rivals.

"What we want is always unity, harmony. Whatever happens we have to get along well, it must be cool," said Prabowo.

Previously, PDI-P DPP chairman Puan Maharani said that her party did not close the door regarding the possibility of pairing Ganjar Pranowo with Prabowo Subianto.

According to him, nothing is impossible in politics as long as the presidential and vice presidential candidates have not registered with the General Elections Commission (KPU).

"Yes, it is possible (Ganjar-Prabowo), the dynamics that are in politics always allow us to stay in touch and meet," said Puan.
