Ganjar Regarding China's Manpower: Human Resources Must Upsell To Become Hosts In Their Own Country!

JAKARTA - Ganjar Pranowo believes domestic human resources will be able to replace foreign workers (TKA) who work in various projects in Indonesia.

Ganjar emphasized that upscaling is the key to making this happen.

"Why is there an upscaling, vocational must come in, how to be fast, so that we can host in our own country, so that we can work alone," said Ganjar, in the '3 Capres Talk Ideas' event at UGM Yogyakarta as seen from the Mata Najwa program, Thursday, September 21.

This statement is Ganjar's response to criticism of him who is considered to have doubts about the quality of Indonesia's human resources (HR) regarding the existence of Chinese foreign workers.

Previously, Najwa Shihab asked about his views on the presence of Chinese foreign workers in Indonesia.

Ganjar then shared his experiences when he was protested on a large scale due to investments from various countries, including America, South Korea, Japan, Europe, and China.

He saw workers and activists who became mass demonstrations demanding the expulsion of foreign workers. Ganjar then invited the mass of the action to have a dialogue.

"Then one day I invited him, I invited him to dialogue, 'Bro what?', 'We sir have to work', 'Good, you have to work. Come in'. Are you ready to be tested? You didn't pass, Ms. Ganjar said.

Ganjar feels that the absorption of domestic workers is not optimal. Because, it proves that there is a need to improve the quality of resources so that they are in accordance with the needs in the field.

Ganjar also highlighted the steps that need to be taken so that Indonesia can host it in its own country.

He emphasized the importance of providing guarantees to investments entering Indonesia.

"So I say, you know, let alone that, if they don't want it, we will expel it tomorrow morning. But can we or can't? Never mind making, can you install the tool or not?" he said.
