The Story Of Vespa Jadul's Child Losing A Motorbike, Reports To The Police After The Perpetrator Has Been Arrested

JAKARTA A classic Vespa motorcycle thief has been caught by the victim through the old Vespa workshop community network. The victim traced the traces of the perpetrator after spreading information regarding the missing Vespa Sprint motorbike, through the Whatsapp Group (WAG) account.

As a result of his actions, the perpetrator with the initials MR (26) became the target of the tantrums of other residents when he was caught by the victim. The perpetrator was arrested after the victim shouted at the perpetrator with the word 'thief'.

Kebon Jeruk Police Chief, Kompol Sutrisno said the theft of the Vespa motorbike occurred on Jalan H. Tohir, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta. The incident began when the victim named Iwan was about to use his Vespa motorbike which was parked on the side of the road near the victim's boarding house on Saturday, September 9.

However, when he arrived at the location, the victim did not meet his motorbike which had previously been parked. Then because he felt he had lost his motorbike, the victim spread the news of his loss of his motorbike through the WA group and Facebook Group Vespa by including a photo of the victim's motorbike.

Furthermore, the victim received information on Monday, September 18 that someone claiming to be the owner of the Vespa workshop reported via WA that the victim's motorbike had been dismantled at his workshop.

After receiving this information, the victim then went to the workshop and checked the spare parts that were dismantled. It turned out that the victim found and found out that the parts of the motorbike that were dismantled belonged to him.

"The victim came to the perpetrator's house based on instructions from the workshop owner. However, when he arrived at the perpetrator's house, the perpetrator was not there. The victim returned to the workshop but while on the way, the victim was overtaken by the perpetrator using the victim's Vespa motorbike," he said.

The victim also chased his motorbike which was stolen by the perpetrator. The victim also shouted at the perpetrator as a thief. The perpetrator was also arrested by local residents. The perpetrators also became the target of residents who were annoyed with the perpetrator's actions.

"Luckily, the Bhabinkamtibmas officers from the Kebon Jeruk Police who were not far away at the location immediately secured the perpetrators from the residents' tantrums. The perpetrators were taken to the Kebon Jeruk Police. The perpetrators were charged with Article 362 of the Criminal Code," he said.
