Anies-Cak Imin Kompak Comes Together To The PKS Office, Welcomed By The President And Secretary General

JAKARTA - Will the presidential and vice presidential candidates for the Change Coalition for Unity, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) visited the PKS DPP office on Jalan Simatupang, South Jakarta, Tuesday, September 12. The two arrived together at 12:33 WIB. The arrival of Anies-Cak Imin was immediately welcomed by PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu and Secretary General Aboe Bakar Alhabsyi. Meanwhile, Cak Imin was accompanied by PKB Deputy Secretary General Syaiful Huda and his ranks. Meanwhile, from the NasDem party, the chairman of the DPP Charles Meikyansah was also present. There has been no statement from PKS, nor the Anies-Cak Imin pair regarding today's visit. They only greet the media crew. However, Amin's visit to PKS headquarters was said to ask for support for the prospective vice presidential candidate which will soon be determined by the Shura assembly. It is known, since it was declared in Surabaya on September 2, PKS has not yet determined its stance on supporting Cak Imin. However, PKS consistently supports Anies' candidacy. Previously, Anies had commented on his visit with Cak Imin to PKS. "The plan is tomorrow. God willing, tomorrow we will visit the PKS DPP together with the PKB team. So Gus Muhaimin and his staff will go to PKS tomorrow afternoon and then stay in touch there," said Anies during a press conference at the PKB DPP office, Cikini, Central Jakarta, Monday, September 11.

When asked if there was a signal that PKS would support Cak Imin, the former governor of DKI Jakarta was reluctant to comment. Anies could only confirm that he and Cak Imin would travel to PKS headquarters in Pasar Minggu, tomorrow.
