Police Transfer Corruption Cases Of Zikir Land In Banda Aceh To The Prosecutor's Office

BANDA ACEH - Investigators from the Banda Aceh Police Satreskrim have transferred the corruption case in the land acquisition for the zhikr Nurul Arafah Islamic Center Ulee Lheue to the suspect Head of PUPR Banda Aceh M Yasir to the public prosecutor (JPU) of the local District Attorney.

"We have transferred the MY suspect's file to the prosecutor," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Banda Aceh Police, Kompol Fadillah Aditya Pratama, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, September 8.

In this case, the Banda Aceh Police have named and arrested three suspects, namely the former Keuchik and former Head of the Ulee Lheue Gampong Government, as well as the Head of PUPR Banda Aceh, M Yasir.

Fadillah explained that the suspect's file M Yasir had been submitted to the prosecutor about three days ago, and his party was still waiting for the results of the study until 14 working days after the documents were transferred.

Later, said Fadillah, the public prosecutor will first conduct research whether the case file for the suspect PUPR is complete (P21) or not (P19).

"Currently, the prosecutor is conducting research, whether in the future there are shortcomings or there are things that need to be completed, we are still waiting," he said.

In addition to the suspect M Yasir, continued Fadillah, the other two suspects, namely the former Keuchik Ulee Lheue and the Head of the Ulee Lheue Gampong Government in the same file, are currently still P19.

"For the other two, we will follow up on the examination of agrarian expert witnesses and criminal law expert witnesses in Jakarta. God willing, this week we will go to Jakarta," said Kompol Fadillah.

The land acquisition for Zikr Nurul Arafah Islamic Center in Ulee Lheu Village, Banda Aceh, came from APBK funds for the 2018 and 2019 fiscal years through the PUPR Office of Banda Aceh City amounting to Rp3.37 billion.

Then, based on the results of the Aceh Representative BPKP Audit, this case has caused state financial losses of more than Rp1 billion from three parcels of land belonging to Ulee Lheue Banda Aceh.
