Long Drought, 232 Thousand Bogor Residents Still Having Difficulty With Clean Water

The clean water crisis is still happening in Bogor Regency. The distribution of clean water continues to be carried out by the Bogor Regency BPBD. One of them is the distribution of water in Tajur Village, Citeureup District, Thursday, September 4. The distribution of clean water reaches a number of residents affected by the long drought. The distribution of clean water is monitored directly by the Regent of Bogor, Iwan Setiawan. According to him, the water needs of the people affected by drought cannot stop. "Clean water supply will continue to distribute regularly every day in several areas affected by drought," he promised.

Head of Emergency and Logistics for Bogor Regency BPBD, M Adam Hamdani noted, as many as 232,026 residents still need clean water assistance. They are spread across 116 villages and 27 sub-districts. Meanwhile, the amount of clean water that has been distributed touched 2,082,000 liters. The clean water comes from Perumda Air Drinking Tirta Kahuripan, which is a BUMD in Bogor Regency.
