Ciampea Police Chief Kompol Suminto said the victim and three of his friends took a bath after returning from school. They swam in the river. They decided to swim in the Cihideung river which is 500 meters from the house, he said, Thursday, September 7. However, not long ago, his friends did not realize that the victim was already in the water and left his hands alone. Seeing the victim was in the middle of the river, they tried to help the victim. However, the victim was not seen again, "he explained. The victim's friends immediately ran without wearing clothes to inform the victim's parents.

After checking the location followed by other residents, they immediately searched. Not long after, the victim was found and was taken to the hospital," he said. The victim was declared dead. According to the testimony of witnesses and parents, the victim could not swim.
