Save The Date! September 21, 2023 One Day Film With Mother (SAHDU) Shows In Cinema XXI

JAKARTA - Room 29 Pictures invites all Indonesian families, members of a humanitarian-based community, activists in the world of education, and all fans of Indonesia's big screen cinema to go to the cinema to watch the film One Day with Mother (SAHDU) which will start airing on the XXI Cinema network on September 21.

SAHDU is the first film produced from Ruang 29 Pictures in collaboration with Muslim/FMM Maker Film, Hubb Connect, Musawarah Study, Munzalan Indonesia Ship Mosque, and Agarillus Film whose story ideas come from a humanitarian-based community (Musawarah Study, Munzalan Indonesia Ship Mosque, Taklim Council/BKMT Contact Agency, and UAS Friends) throughout Indonesia.

Young director Muhammad Amrul Ummami, who previously succeeded in working on the film Pursuing Halal (2017) and the short film trilogy Cinta Subuh (2016), was given the mandate to string up the story of SAHDU in a wide screen format. Amrul entrusted the male lead character to talented young actor Chand Kelvin as Dewa, an independent adult. Mother's role in a senior character actress, Vonny Anggraini. Meanwhile, female supporting actress was given to famous actress and model Vebby Palwinta as Princess, Dewa's close friend.

Meanwhile, Ustaz Abdul Somad or commonly known as UAS also provided support for the birth of the film SAHDU as a means of moral education for all Indonesian families.

"Let's not wait until our mother doesn't exist, then we will regret and feel our life is empty. Whatever we have feels useless. So while he's still there, hug him, kiss his hands, and love him with all your love, if you have a little sustenance then make him happy," said UAS.

Meanwhile, the film SAHDU also features special performance from several Indonesian artists to strengthen the storyline and scene. Among them are Ivan Govinda, Rizal Armada, Ricky Perdana, and Cupink Topan. Appearing with a prime character spirit, each featuring acting very well and naturally.

"We deliberately present special performances from several Indonesian artists to give more colors to the film SAHDU which strengthens the storyline that is the strength of this film," said director Amrul Ummami.

On the other hand, young figure Hj. Syifa Fauzia, Chairman of the Contact Board of the Taklim Council (BKMT) as well as Ambassador of the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) encourages mothers who are members of any community, especially BKMT to support and watch SAHDU films. According to him, being a mother is a noble choice in raising the nation's golden generation through family institutions.

"Being a mother is great. Because mothers will produce a next generation that is better than the previous generation. We can support and succeed in SAHDU films which are full of moral messages of kindness by watching and exploring exciting moments in films with families," said Syifa.

Meanwhile, at the same time, Ruang 29 Pictures re-launched a poster of the film SAHDU as part of a film promotion activity.

"We hope that the strong visual narrative support from the poster of the film SAHDU can strengthen implied and written messages about the importance of maintaining children and parents' relations, especially mothers," added Novandrian, producer of the film SAHDU.

SAHDU raised a fragment of the story of an adult man, Dewa who lives with his mother who is single-parent because her husband died to meet her needs for life. Meanwhile, Dewa is busy with her work and activities in the big city, Jakarta. So, he doesn't have much quality time to interact with his mother.

This story often occurs in relationships between mothers and adult children who already have their own work and activities outside the home. Meanwhile, the mother continues to give sincere love to children in the form of attention that children sometimes understand as a restraint on attitudes and actions.

SAHDU has strength in the storyline that builds on the love of a mother to children in raising, caring for, and educating based on the universal values of good taught in Islam and other religions.

SAHDU is an Indonesian film with a family drama genre for all ages. SAHDU is a film that has its own and unique character, because it was born from a community idea with a humanitarian background.
